What is the globotoroid?
It is a 3-dimensional dynamical model that offers an alternative view of complexity in natural processes. As the name suggests it contains both globe and toroidal geometries, and as such presents a perfect topology for an imperfect world.
Why are globotoroids important?
The mathematical modeling techniques of the last century are no longer adequate to handle complexity challenges in the new millennium. The current models are more than often based on the generalizations of the flatland, or 2-dimensional, singularity theories. In contrast, the globotoroid theory lifts the flatland domain into the full 3-dimensional modeling space, and with it opens up a new insight into the dynamic and topological signatures that appear on all scales of our universe.
